IE 9 pinning is just another app in a crowded app marketplace

Some might think the ie9 pinning feature is cool. I see it as more ominous, a graduation to more apps; a removal of another abstraction layer; akin to making different versions of html per browser; a removal of standards. The app store/marketplace IS the web.
